#017 #wei wei boy goes to Berlin

For SS25 Taipei Fashion Week Opening Show, we collaborated with Taiwanese IP Creator wei wei boy and created the "wei wei boy goes to Berlin" Collection. This collection merges #DAMUR’s bold and fearless aesthetic with wei wei boy’s cute style, creating a fashion line that’s both playful and rebellious. The design draws inspiration from wei wei boy’s iconic IP characters, depicting their dream of traveling to the free-spirited city of Berlin. Known for its open-mindedness, subcultures, vibrant nightlife, and multicultural mix, Berlin not only influenced #DAMUR’s designs, but also served as the perfect backdrop for wei wei boy and his friends’ adventurous tale.

The creative concept behind this series fuses two distinct artistic styles. It builds on the vivid and playful colors of wei wei boy, incorporating the high-saturation tones and intense energy characteristic of Berlin. The collection also introduces elements of BDSM culture, such as fishnets, straps, and metal zippers, adding kinky details to the mix. These are tied together with #DAMUR’s signature check and wave patterns. This collaboration is not just a collision of styles but a deep conversation between two unique souls, addressing themes of fashion, art, gender, and fantasy.
