014 #LOVE PARADISE

Berlin-based high street brand #DAMUR once again made a resounding impact on the fashion scene with audacious and groundbreaking fashion performances, and captivating fashion enthusiasts during Taipei Fashion Week. Renowned designer Damur Huang inspired Taiwan by showcasing the brand's newest collection through a spectacular boat show at Kaohsiung.

 The #DAMUR SS24 collection embodies fashion's fluidity, whimsical artistic fantasies, and the subversive essence of the designer's inner theatre and creativity. The collection features oversized PVC raincoats, electric pink and green floral tops, and mix & match suits, presenting an irregular yet dreamy high-fashion design. Employing 3D cutouts, diverse geometric patterns, and ruffled details, the collection highlights the beauty of contours and body movement. The fusion of dreams, softness, and steadfastness, akin to sparks and sea breeze, compose a love song named "#DAMUR."

#DAMUR collaborated with ARGO Yacht Club, Kaohsiung City Government Youth Bureau, and 2023 Kaohsiung Fashion Awards (KFA) to host a brand showcase aboard "AC80," Taiwan's largest operational yacht valued at 2 billion NTD. The yacht set sail from the picturesque Kaohsiung coastline towards the iconic Kaohsiung Harbor Bridge. The theme, "Love Paradise," symbolises a romantic and enchanting love movie created by #DAMUR, seamlessly integrating the sea, sky, and urban landscape into the flowing contours of modern dance-inspired models. For the designer, this was about creating a fashion paradise at sea, engaging in a global dialogue of style, embracing everyone with the warmth of the waves, transcending gender and skin colour, and creating an safe and inclusive space where no one is left out.
