#DAMUR's MBFW debut: making of
Every look consisted of the typical for #DAMUR unusual cuts and contrasting fabrics: keeping denim as a core material, each outfit was spiced up by adding and mixing elegant fabrics such as lace with PVC details. From purely black and white, the collection moved towards more colourful and diverse. This represented the 'you are not black enough' concept.
You’ve seen the final looks, but you must be curious how it was behind the scenes. Now we’re sharing it with you! Keep reading:
5pm: We’re leaving: some of us are leaving the office after the final touch-ups, others are packing our garments at PREMIUM (don’t worry, we brought them back the following day, we also left a note) to take it to E-werk - our show location.
5.45pm: Our team arrives to E-werk and shortly after, the models start gathering.
6pm: Everybody arrives and we’re moving to backstage; this is when the models start getting their hair and make up done (including the winners of our BVG x #DAMUR collaboration) Meanwhile, our team organises the final runway looks and prepares the stand where later you check in and grab some goodies.
8.30pm: While models have their rehearsal, the guests start arriving. The representatives from organisations such as GQ, Press Factory and Harper's Bazaar were seen among our guests along with our business partners and influencers. Well-known celebrites like Robin Schulz, Robert Wunschand and the Governing Mayor of Berlin Michael Müller joined us as well.
9:20pm: The models line up, we touch them up :) and ready to WALK!
... there were some chaos at the backstage, but everything went well as you seen! So here we won't tell you what went wrong, the most important, you should believe what you have seen LOL!
